Ralph's Observation

Just for those of you wondering, the previous post is something Ralph had to do for a job he is applying for. They asked for it to be posted to a website for viewing...rather than broadcast himself on youtube, he chose the family blog. Hope you all enjoyed it :) haha!

Here are some cute pictures of Reghan's dance recital last week. All my friends warned me that putting a three year old in dance class was just tossing money down the drain, (and they were mostly right), but she LOVED it! She definitely didn't learn many dance skills, but she learned a little about listening, and had a great time with friends, so I would say it was worth it. 

State Wrestling

I know I am a horrible blogger, but for all those family & friends interested, here are some pictures of Nate at the state wrestling tournament back in (gasp), February. Or March. I don't know. A while ago, anyway! He did a great job to make it to state. He ended up losing his first two matches, but fought hard, learned a lot, and most importantly, grew a lot throughout the season. We are looking forward to watching him do great things next season! Hopefully those "first time at state" jitters will find someone else next year and he can just wrestle the way he knows how :)

?Recent? Happenings :)

So...I thought I would just post some pictures of what we've been up to recently. Or since my last post which was probably about a year ago.
Lets see...
Some bike riding near Casper (I know, there aren't that many places to go around here!!). But this was a pretty drive. The kids had fun, and spotted a black bear on the way down the mountain. I love living where we can see all these amazing animals that other people only read about.





Um, some quality family time with my family. :) Whenever we all meet up, we try to play some basketball. This time, the volleyball nets were up, so we did that too. Cool shorts like these definitely elevate your game! Always lots of laughs and fun.



Kyle is a cheater...he served before Devri had her shorts fixed up right. But, like I said, cool shorts give you special powers. She has skills!




Some gardening! I'm not really sure it's worth all the effort, but there's something rewarding about gardening. And teaching your children the joy of hard work and reaping the rewards of that work. Reghan LOVED picking the green beans and carrots...whether they were ready or not.

A little hunting (um, someone on that trip shot The Great Prince of the Forest, but rather than being scarred for life, Reghan was elated! "Don't forget the Great Prince, boys!" she kept saying. "Yum, he sure will be good eating!" I'm glad she enjoyed it :)

Nate 1st Place Wrestling Wind River Tournament

Nate placed 1st at the Wind river wrestling Tournament this past weekend. He was awesome as he faced each opponent. Nate was also named "wrestler of the week" last week for his great performance in the Vernal Utah meet, placing 7th out of 47 competitors! Looking forward to STATE!!
